Katie McNally

Freddie James

After moving away from her home town of Hudson at 15 years old Katie McNally moved to Johannesburg South Africa, where she lived for 2 and a half years ,and then moved onto Brussels Belgium where she began her singing career at the age of 17. Here she had the chance to take part in a promotional album signed by Universal France and sold over 90,000 copies across Europe. After beginning works with Sony Belgium, and co-writing on 3 songs in the hopes of launching her first single she decided to move back home to Montreal with her family.

Katie quickly found herself with the 9 person show band Flashdance for two years. Her travels continued with Flashdance taking her to Shanghai. After meeting talented musicians within this band, Katie decided to start her own band which was mainly influenced by old school and new school rock. Rock Train Lady was Katie’s main focus until becoming the female addition to the Freddie James Project!
